The poppy flower is rich in symbolism, woven across many centuries into the fabric of tales, mythology, modern trends and remembrance. Most commonly it has become a symbol sacrifice and remembrance for those who lost their lives in conflict.
Aside from the connection of war, the red poppy symbolised resilience of the human spirit even in the face of adversity and tragedy. It represents hope and a determination to overcome challenges. Here it is a prayer of hope for peacekeeping in world full of conflict and unrest.
